Rotary Flag Exchange with Canada: Building Bridges of Friendship

Rotary Flag Exchange with Canada: Building Bridges of Friendship

Strengthening ties between District 3056 (India) and District 7040 (Canada) through dialogue, fellowship, and future Friendship Exchange opportunities.

Strengthening Global Bonds with Rotary Canada

Rotary continues to be a powerful platform for building meaningful connections across borders, and our recent interaction with leaders from Rotary District 7040, Canada was a true reflection of that spirit.

We had the honor of welcoming Past District Governor (PDG) Pradeep and Friendship Exchange Chairman Simmi from District 7040. The highlight of the meeting was a Rotary Flag Exchange ceremony, a symbolic tradition that represents goodwill, unity, and the strengthening of international fellowship.

As the District Friendship Exchange Chairman for District 3056, I had the opportunity to engage in insightful discussions with our Canadian counterparts. Together, we explored the future possibilities of Friendship Exchange programs between our two districts — opportunities that will allow Rotarians to experience cultural immersion, share best practices, and develop long-lasting global friendships.

This collaboration promises to open new avenues for cross-cultural understanding, international cooperation, and community service, reinforcing Rotary’s mission of creating lasting impact worldwide.

We look forward to building on this dialogue and creating memorable experiences for members of both District 3056 and District 7040 through upcoming Friendship Exchange initiatives.
